Flamenco is history, music and dance!
An art form done in the Andalucian region of Spain, Flamenco is an amalgamation of all cultures. It draws its inspiration from Greek, Roman, Indian, Moorish and Jewish cultures. The existence of Flamenco can be traced back to the 16th century.
Flamenco is a great way to share a new cultural art form with your group. We are available for performances, small and large group instruction and lectures. Our past workshops have included the following: Idaho State University, College of Southern Idaho, Idaho Dance Education Organization, numerous public high schools, Arts Festivals and community functions. Let us be your connection to this amazing art form!
Contact Kelli Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org/ 208-869-9355 for more information on how to bring Flamenco to you!
The poem, the song, the picture, is only water drawn from the well of the people, and it should be given back to them in a cup of beauty so that they may drink - and in drinking understand themselves.
